Biografía
I am a Biotechnology Engineer from Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE. I completed my undergraduate thesis at the Centro de Investigación en Biotecnología (CIB) of Tecnológico de Costa Rica, where I worked on the optimization of gamma irradiation-induced mutagenesis and the selection of aluminum-tolerant sugarcane (Saccharumsp.) mutant lines. My experience includes plant tissue culture, micropropagation, in vitro conservation, laboratory management, and the preparation of culture media for plant biotechnology research. I have also contributed to research support, laboratory coordination, and the implementation of biosafety practices. My current research interests focus on plant tissue culture, ex situ conservation, pollen banking, germplasm preservation, cryopreservation, and the sustainable use of plant genetic resources.
