Biografía

MSc. Villacrés holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in English from Universidad Técnica del Norte and a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL). As a distinguished recipient of the Go Teachers Program scholarship, he pursued advanced studies at Kansas State University, enhancing his expertise in language education.

With over 14 years of professional experience, including more than a decade in higher education, MSc. Villacrés has demonstrated exceptional adaptability in teaching methodologies. He has taught diverse groups, including children, adolescents, and adults, and tailored his approach to meet learners’ needs. Additionally, as Academic Coordinator and Instructor for the College Horizons Program in Imbabura, he played a pivotal role in advancing students’ academic achievements.

MSc. Villacrés is an active member of the English Conversation Club, where he tutors Yachay learners in conversational skills and leads outreach programs for children in rural communities in Urcuquí. His dedication to research and professional excellence underscores his standing as a highly respected member of the academic community.
