Biografía
Marcos Becerra was born in Galapagos, Ecuador. He obtained a degree in Physics from the National Polytechnic School of Ecuador (EPN) in 2014 He worked at the Universidad de San Francisco de Quito from 2011 to 2019. In 2017, Marcos embarked on a degree in Physical-Chemistry jointly offered by the San Francisco University and Université de Bordeaux. His research focused “On the separation of the information content of the Fermi and Coulomb holes and their influence on the electronic properties of molecular systems”. By 2022, he transitioned to Urcuqui-Imbabura, Ecuador, joining Yachay Tech University as a teacher.
Research Interests
– Simulation in molecules over crystals using Quantum mechanics, specifically density
functional theory (DFT)
– Simulation of biological molecules by using Molecular Dynamics,
– Computational development in cluster engineering
