Marco Guevara, Ph.D.

OCCASIONAL PROFESSOR 2

Biografía

Marco Guevara was born in Riobamba (Ecuador). He obtained a bachelor from Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Electronics (2010). Then, he gets an Ecuadorian fellowship to move to Italy and complete the Ph.D. in Information and communication engineering for pervasive intelligent environments (2017). His research was focused on advanced crystal silicon solar cells simulations and their optimization, optical modeling, and photonic devices. In 2018, he started working as an assistant professor at Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo at the Faculty of Mechanics. He starts with the study and production of 2D materials like graphene and their applications. In 2021, he starts working on Yachay Tech at the department of Physics.
