Lecturer

Biografía

Laura M. Pérez, born in Cali, Colombia. She did her Bachelor in Physics at the Universidad del Valle (Colombia). She holds a Ph.D. in Complex Systems from Universidad de Navarra (Spain). In December 2017, she joined as a Lecturer to School of Physical Sciences and Nanotechnology at Yachay Tech University.

Research Interest

My research within the last years has mainly focused on classical magnetic systems far from equilibrium. Specifically, I have studied the deterministic spin dynamics of interacting magnetic particles, by means of the Landau–Lifshitz equation. In addition, I have studied the convection phenomenon of complex fluids.
