Katherine Triviño

Profesor Ocasional 1

Biografía

Katherine obtained a bachelor degree in Biotechnology Engineering at the University of the Armed Forces –  ESPE and later received a double degree in Molecular Medicine from Uppsala University in Sweden and Pharmaceutical and Drug Innovation from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. During her master program, Katherine was involved in different research projects that included bone tissue engineering, cardiovascular regeneration and vascular engineering.

Katherine is interested in translating research into the clinical practice, and use tissue engineering tools for the creation of in vitro novel models as a starting point towards cell therapy and clinically viable solutions.
