Biografía
Felipe Carlosama graduated from the National Polytechnic School (EPN) as a Geological Engineer; His field of study and research was focused on Risk analysis, Mass Removal Phenomena and Geotechnics. Felipe has made maps of susceptibility to the occurrence of Mass Removal Phenomena for some municipalities of different cities in Ecuador. Felipe has worked at Weatherford, an oil company, in the Mud logging division. in 2017 Felipe moved to Moscow-Russia, to study his master’s degree in Geology at the Russian University of Peoples’ Friendship, with a full scholarship, where he specialized in remote sensors used in prospection of porphyry copper deposits. Furthermore, due to his excellent level of knowledge and previous teaching experience, Felipe carried out his pedagogical practices in Geoinformation and mathematical modeling techniques in Geology, being a GIS teacher for first-year Geology students.
