Biografía
I was born in Ibarra, Ecuador. I studied two careers simultaneously, on the one hand I studied a degree in Physics-Mathematics at the Technical University of Loja, additionally I obtained my degree in Finance at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, later I did my Master’s studies at Renewable Energies at the European University Miguel de Cervantes, Valladolid, Spain. In the same way, I obtained the Master’s degree in Physics-Chemistry teaching at the National University of Distance Education UNED in Madrid, Spain. I am currently finishing my PhD in Applied Physics at the Universidade da Coruña in Spain, with my subject on nanomaterials for the production of hydrogen in the field of renewable energies. My experience in the educational field is very diverse and at the same time very pleasant, since I had the great opportunity to work with students of different ages and levels. In 2007, I started my role as university professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, teaching some chairs such as mathematics, business administration, professional ethics, business policy, among others. Later in 2014 I had the great opportunity to be part of the first year of operation of the emblematic Yachay Tech project, where I was able to teach the Integration of Knowledge projects and be Tutor of the subject of Physics. In 2016, I was appointed Academic Vice-Rector of the Víctor Manuel Guzmán Educational Unit, and at the beginning of 2017 I was appointed Rector in charge of the same institution, experiences that allowed me to know the educational management and contribute significantly in infrastructure improvements, equipment and training. Additionally, I had the opportunity to share one semester the Chair of Physics I and Physics II, at the Universidad Técnica del Norte, to students of Forestry, Biotechnology and renewable energy careers.
