Biografía
Cynthia Arias was born in Quito, Ecuador. In 2020, she obtained her degree in Physics from Yachay Tech University where she focused her research in General Relativity. In 2021, she was granted the PSI scholarship to study her Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics at Perimeter Institute and University of Waterloo, Canada. After her graduation, she performed as research assistant at Perimeter Institute where she mainly studied the Stochastic Gravitational Waves Background. Currently, she is part of the School of Physics and Nanotechnology at Yachay Tech as lecturer before moving to Czech Republic where she will start her PhD at Charles University in 2023. During 4 years, she will study the symmetries and thermodynamics of Black Holes. In addition, she has published 4 scientific articles indexed to Scopus.
