The ranking of the prestigious journal ranks the international publications of the universities.

Yachay Tech ranks third in the Nature Index Ranking in Ecuador. The ranking is based on the number of researchers’ publications from each institution in a group of 68 prestigious scientific journals. To this number, we add 2 evaluation indexes related to the collaboration made for each paper. The University has maintained this position for the past two years.
Nature Index is a database related to the institutions to which researchers are affiliated. Only academic articles that published in 68 high-impact scientific journals, selected by a scientific committee, are considered. The database generates indexes that seek to be one of the metrics used to measure institutional quality and excellence.
The information collected in this database is organized and categorized by institution, country, and region, creating a research ranking based on different rating indices. This is an achievement for all professors, students and administrative staff of Yachay Tech University and for research in Ecuador.
