CEDIA Network (Ecuadorian Corporation for the Development of Research and Academia) is the National Network of Ecuadorian Research and Education, created to promote and coordinate the development of scientific research and academia. The goal of the network is to promote and improve activities in the field of scientific and applied research; as well as contributing to the academy, through the use of Information and Communication Technologies in Ecuador. Currently the network has 38 members, covering universities throughout the country.
Being part of the network means several benefits for institutions. RED CEDIA services support connectivity, training, infrastructure, compilations, projects, collaboration, events, financing and publication of results. The specific benefits of belonging to the network are:
