271 Leveling students from the second period 2021 join the Yachay Tech university community. The institutional authorities welcomed those who accepted a quota for the different careers.
Romel Tintin, PhD, Chancellor of Yachay Tech, welcomed students, faculty and officials of the university community and stated it was quite exciting to have this new group of students as part of the University.
“This University is proud to be a leader in research in the country. Count on us to ensure your success. Study hard and I wish you the best in the challenge you are about to embark on today”, stated Tintin.
José María Lalama, PhD, Rector and President of the Supervisory and Strengthening Commission (CIFI), stated that the university is firmly established as one of the best institutions of higher education in the country and the region.
Lalama stated that: “Today you take on a journey full of challenges and the results will be gratifying. You must take advantage of the tools and resources that the university provides you with. Be proud to be part of this family”.
The authorities highlighted that being part of Yachay Tech involves multiple values and principles, but above its means to belong to the generation of change to promote and generate knowledge.
What students will learn during the leveling phase will allow them to develop and perfect their skills, to contribute to the progress of the country.
On behalf of the University community, the Rector inaugurated the second leveling period of 2021, and wished the best of success to those who begin to form part of Yachay Tech.
The academic leveling comprehends 16 effective weeks of online classes from November 22, 2021 to March 28, 2022. During this time, students will take courses like Fundamentals of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Writing and Reading Comprehension and English.
The Yachay Tech Leveling seeks to provide equal opportunities for students to access higher education, as well as strengthen the development of the skills and abilities necessary for the professional success of university students throughout the country.
