Students from UNAE, UArtes and Yachay Tech met to share a day of various activities
Students from UArtes, UNAE and Yachay Tech University met on October 20, 21 and 22 to share sports and cultural activities. The event was hosted by Universidad Nacional de Educación (UNAE) in the city of Azogues, province of Cañar, and was led by the student representatives of the three universities. The purpose of the event was to strengthen relations between students of the three institutions and to encourage sports and cultural activities.
The event had the collaboration of the Sports and Culture Department of Yachay Tech University, who coordinated the participation of sports teams and cultural groups of students of the University. The categories were: women’s basketball, men’s basketball, women’s indoor soccer, men’s indoor soccer. The results were:
The cultural meetings were attended by groups from all three institutions and guests. As for Yachay Tech University, the participating group was the Dance Club. Lastly, students shared a space to exchange experiences and propose new ways to maintain inter-institutional collaboration. We congratulate the participating students for their achievements and for the proper development of this positive initiative.
