Attendees seek to form an Employee Association for the institution.

On March 21, 2019, Eduardo V. Ludeña, Ph.D., rector of Yachay Tech University, held a meeting with members of the administrative staff who seek to promote the creation of an Employees Association for the institution. During the meeting, the representatives of this initiative presented the objectives and work agenda that they intend to implement in the institution. Finally, the rector showed his support for the initiative and recognized the constitutional right of workers and employees to associate.
The Employee Association has the purpose of defending employee rights and representing them. In addition, they hope to promote ties between all the staff, the University, and external bodies. In the same way, they plan to establish social and economic services in favor of the needs of University employees.
The Rector expressed his support for the initiative and the activities proposed by those who attended the meeting.
