334 Leveling students of the First academic term 2022 join the Yachay Tech university community. The main institutional authorities welcomed those who will be part of the university for the coming years.
Juan Eduardo Bravo, PhD., Chancellor-Academic Vice Rector, opened the virtual event by welcoming the students to this new stage of their lives and wished them a prosperous new semester, hoping they can get to know the university better.
The Rector and President of the Supervisory and Institutional Strengthening Commission (CIFI), Diego Pérez D. Ed.D., began his speech by congratulating the students for taking the big step that means joining Yachay Tech and highlighted the importance of starting the leveling course as the stage that will allow them to strengthen the foundations for the majors of the University.
“You have started the dream of achieving your professional degree, a dream that is shared by you and your families. During this leveling, you will receive the support and follow-up you need to be successful. Within the next 5 years, with discipline and sacrifice you will be able to obtain your university degree so that you can make the country a better place with quality education”, said Dr. Peréz.
Finally, the Rector stated that: “This leveling semester will be held virtually, which you will be able to do without problem thanks to your knowledge. Yachay Tech University provides the necessary support for you to be successful. Thus, I declare this leveling semester officially open”.
The academic leveling will be held virtually and will last 16 effective weeks, from June 8, 2022 to October 4, 2022. During the leveling, students will take Fundamentals of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Writing and Reading Comprehension and English as part of their academic strengthening in order to face the different majors.
The leveling course at Yachay Tech seeks to provide the same conditions and opportunities for students who have decided to enter the university. At the same time, it allows for the strengthening and development of skills and abilities for future professionals of the country.
