Emblematic Universities design a 2017 Action Plan
The four Emblematic Universities of the country, created in 2014 to strengthen the higher education system in Ecuador, UNAE, UARTES, Ikiam and Yachay Tech, met in Urcuquí, Imbabura for a workshop where they proposed to establish projects together through a 2017 Action Plan. Strategic themes include academic mobility, research and social responsability.
The proposals for collaboration are in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the institutions in November 2016.
As a next step, the Rectors of the four universities will meet in February to continue planning strategies and projects.
