Yachay Tech University signed a framework and specific cooperation agreement with the Technical University of Cotopaxi – UTC, in the city of Latacunga, as part of the celebration of the 28th anniversary of UTC.
The main objective of the framework agreement is to establish the bases and mechanisms for collaboration between the Universities for the fulfillment of joint activities aimed at: carrying out pre-professional practices, execution of community service projects, development of degree works, academic training, professional training, continuing education for the development of science, technology, innovation and research. The goal is to strengthen all those areas of mutual purposes and interests.
The agreements were signed by the rector of Yachay Tech University – UITEY, Dr. Andrés Rosales and Dr. Idalia Pacheco, deputy rector of the Technical University of Cotopaxi – UTC.
During the event, Dr. Andrés Rosales stated that: “For us as Yachay Tech, it is extremely important to establish cooperation ties with universities in the country, so that our students benefit from activities that allow them to improve their academic skills”.
Dr. Idalia Pacheco, on her part, highlighted that: “For us it is an honor to establish cooperation agreements with Yachay Tech University, as it is a university focused on science and technology and this will allow us to generate new knowledge according to the programs we offer as a university.”
Additionally, a specific agreement was signed, in which the parties commit to carrying out academic exchanges for self-assessment processes of the learning environment, majors and programs, as well as technical cooperation for the design and evaluation of internal quality management systems.
With these actions Yachay Tech commits to continuing with quality in the professional training of students.
