Simone Belli will inaugurate the webinar cycle organized by ‘Investigación Cualitativa’
Simone Belli, faculty member of the School of Design Engineering and Innovation, has been invited to give an inaugural conference in the virtual conference cycle “CONVERSANDO SOBRE NUESTRAS REALIDADES: ENCUENTROS VIRTUALES DE INVESTIGACIÓN CUALITATIVA”. This webinar cycle is organized by ‘Investigación Cualitativa’, one of the most important qualitative research academic resources networks in spanish. It will take place on the organization’s website www.investgacioncualitativa.com on May 23th, 10h00 am Ecuadorian Time Zone.
In this series of virtual encounters, lecturers will share the result of different research projects, developing conceptual framework, analysis and research models and others important parts of the qualitative research process. Right now there are more than 400 viewers already signed up to the digital event. They will participate in social sciences, health and humanities lectures. The main goals of the event are to generate a debate, to amplify the application field of qualitative research and to contribute to the formation of new research generations.
Simone Belli will give a lecture about a qualitative social research method called Membership Categorization Analysis, which is focused on the recognizability of people as a part of a social categorization and how this categorization is a resource for social relations. Belli will delve on some of the principal concepts in this research methodology. and will present two examples of studies done with the method and others.
