From October 20 to 26, Conexión Humboldt gathered the creators of 15 innovative Latin American projects aimed at building a better world, inspired in the thought and legacy of the great German scientist Alexander von Humboldt.
During the welcome event, Katja Kessing, Director of the Besucherprogramm of Goethe-Institute, invited several projects to be presented to German representatives to promote the potential that Latin America has for the world.
On the first day, students were welcomed by a team at Tempelhofer Feld, where they learned more about the program and how it seeks to work on global projects to look for solutions to different problems.
Joshua Salazar, a Physics student from Yachay Tech University, was one of the 15 students invited to live an academic and cultural exchange experience that will allow them to strengthen their initiatives and projects in their own communities and countries.
Offline-Pedia was one of the 15 winning projects at Conexión Humboldt. These projects were selected after a call that received hundreds of videos where innovation and sustainability where the common factor to travel to Germany and exchange experiences. (JCE)
