Hugo Romero, Ph.D.

Biography

I am a tropical biologist with broad interests. My undergraduate studies converted me into a “botanist” and plant community ecologist, while my graduate studies took me into the realm of plant ecophysiology and stable isotope ecology. Lately, I´ve been working on various topics in the large interdisciplinary world of ecosystem ecology and in the conservation of wild and domesticated species of Ecuador.
