Biography

David Alejandro Cabezas Orquera. Ecuadorian, based in the province of Imbabura, obtained his degree in Agricultural Engineering at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the Army IASA II based in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. Continuing his studies at the Central University of Ecuador where he obtained the title of Specialist in Advanced Animal Nutrition in 2017 and a master’s degree at the Catholic University of Ecuador in Animal Production, mentioning beef and dairy cattle in 2021. He has developed his career under ethical, moral, humanistic and agroecological principles; with both public and private work experience such as in the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock MAG for more than 10 years in technical advice to small and medium producers in the province of Imbabura in agricultural and livestock production systems, as well as in the Hacienda Santa Mónica owned by the Universidad Técnica del Norte as an Agricultural Analyst responsible for the production of milk with commercial anchorage to the Nestlé dairy industry and forming private productive projects for the implementation of dairy farms and export crops. He is currently part of the Food Agroindustry career at the School of Agricultural and Agroindustrial Sciences at the Yachay Experimental Technology Research University as a teaching technician.
