Embassy of India donates equipment to Yachay Tech

Ravi Bangar, Ambassador of India, visited Yachay Tech University with the intent of finalizing the donation of laboratory equipment and establishing cooperation opportunities in scientific research. During his visit, the Ambassador held a meeting with Eduardo V. Ludeña, PhD, Rector of the University, and went on a campus tour to see the University facilities. The Ambassador’s visit took place on December 1, 2018.

The laboratory equipment that the Embassy of India donated to the university has been placed in the laboratories of the schools of Mathematical and Computational Sciences, and Chemical Sciences. The equipment donation was made through Yachay EP. The purpose of this donation is to strengthen Yachay Tech by giving it better access to technology.

During his visit, Ravi Bangar was able to see the laboratories where the 37 pieces of donated equipment had been installed, as well as the research and academic facilities on campus. His visit was part of Yachay Tech’s strong international cooperation policy.
