Paola Santamaría

Paola Santamaría Velásquez has been an English teacher for 23 years in different levels of Education. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Education. She has a master’s degree in Bilingual Education from “Universidad Internacional de La Rioja” (Spain). She obtained a GoTeacher scholarship sponsored by the government of Ecuador to certify herself as a TESL trainer at Kansas State University (United States). Paola is also a CELTA Qualified teacher certified by Cambridge University. She is a certified expert translator in the Judicial Branch of Ecuador. She is currently working as a Professor at Yachay Tech University. Her interests are focused on Teaching Students with Special Educational Needs and Addressing Educational Practices on Personal Learning Status and Flipped-AI oriented environments.
